What is Winter Swap?

Winter Swap is a consignment type sale - you can buy, or sell, or both! Aligning with our mission of inspiring our community to pursue a lifetime of outdoor activity and environmental stewardship, we facilitate finding new homes for gear that would otherwise sit in a basement, garage or end up in a landfill. And to make sure you find what you need to get outside this season, we're offering a sale on new winter clothing and gear!

What gear can I find at Skirack's Winter Swap?

You'll find great deals of new and used cross country skis, downhill skis, snowboards, snowshoes, boots, bindings, and poles.

Got winter gear to sell?

Intake is January 8-12, Monday-Thursday (10am-6pm) and Friday (10am-5pm). The seller prices the items in a consignment like sale.

Our Sunday discount is back! During intake, opt to put your item(s) at 25% off on Sunday (if it doesn't sell on Saturday).

• We are looking for winter gear that is clean, modern, well maintained in good and usable condition. Gear with broken pieces will not be accepted.
• We will accept: cross country skis, downhill skis, snowboards, snowshoes, boots, bindings, poles, roller skis, and Nordic skates.
• We are not accepting: downhill skis that are older than 10 years (no straight skis), helmets, clothing, ski rack carriers/base racks, boxes, fat bikes, traditional ice skates, accessories such as goggles, bags, gloves, skins, etc.
• Increase the likelihood of your gear selling by ensuring your gear is clean with no strong smells and there are no mouse nests, cobwebs and dirt inside of boots.
• We will accept gear that needs to be tuned, but tuned gear is more likely to sell.
• We withhold the right to refuse any gear

If your Item(s) Sell

You get 100% in store credit (ready Monday January 15 when the store opens at 10AM) or 70% in the form of a check (available for pickup Monday January 15 at 2PM). Store credit can be used at Skirack and/or Patagonia Burlington.

Items not picked up by Monday will be forfeited.

Pick up for all items is Sunday, January 14 from 5-7pm OR Monday January 15 from 10am-6pm.
